As a resource, we have done research on alternatives to in-person meetings. Here are some viable (and inexpensive) options to keep meeting with your clients & staff in these ‘new normal’ times.
– Zoom.us is the platform we use the most. It seems to have the best support & does not crash as much as other platforms. It is great for screen sharing on both sides and works great with high-speed internet.
– Google Hangouts is the platform our Google Rep uses & has proved to be stable. If you are paying for use of Google’s G-Suite services currently, it can be added onto your plan. Also great for screen sharing.
– GotoMeeting.com is another alternative. However, this requires significant software installation & can eat up a lot of resources on your computer.
– Join.me is a free platform to screen share & talk. It is getting better, but we stopped using it because of crashing issues. It’s been a while since I used it myself, so it very well could have been solved.
